From 2006, there’s a popular video around that every geek have seen many times. It features some 3D objects floating in a live video scene.

Do you remember it ?

Today, you can play with this in your office with your webcam. It’s as simple as going there : http://interactive.digitalpictures.com.au/?p=392 , having a flash player running, and a printer. You have to first print a symbole like this one :

… and then show it up to the camera, who is going to recogize it to place a 3D object, live, on it, respecting angles and depth. Here my first test:
