		<description>Well, we&#039;re halfway through 2009 and there&#039;s no sign of Picasa yet.  I too abhor iPhoto for the same reasons you detailed above--every other aspect of using a Mac is great--but I&#039;m left with no choice in the absence of similar photo manager applications on OS X.  I suspect there&#039;s something going on behind the scenes here--iPhoto and Picasa fill roles that are a little too overlapping for me not to think there&#039;s a bit of collusion here.</description>
